    Winter DANCON Tested

Did my first DANCON recently, so that is a 25km ruck march, during a winter slush mess here in Europe. Wet, cold, muddy water for a solid chunk of it. I only have one pair of these socks and used them the entire march. No blisters, didn't feel cold, and I felt comfortable the whole time. I am planning on getting more of these socks because of how awesome they were. And I plan on using them on a 50km Swiss Ruck March soon. Bottom line: the price is worth it. They are a solid investment for your feet.

    Just what I needed!

Thanks for the great Mountaineer OTCs, excellent socks for hiking in heavy duty boots! Padding and mild compression are just right for all-day wear...I also have FITS lightweight and midweight crew and OTC socks for low cut hikers/walkers, and, like the Mountaineers, they are comfortable and wear well. The right socks for the right purposes, much appreciated!

    excellent quality

These socks are well-made, excellent quality and give every indication of being very long-lasting. They are a little more expensive than one might normally wish to spend; however, high quality and excellent workmanship should never come cheap. ▬ Unfortunately, because I live in Canada, right now the currency exchange makes these socks almost prohibitive for Canadians. One can only hope that FITS will one day have a Canadian outlet and that the US and Canadian currencies will be less disparate.

Don’t hesitate- just by these already!

These socks quickly became my favorite military work socks and hiking socks. I’ve even worn them white water rafting in glacier water and my feet stayed comfortable. My new favorite socks all around!

    Friggin’ awesome

I got a bunch of OTC wool socks. Only wool, cuz it’s the only material I have find that actually limits foot stink. I do wear medical grade compression socks when I fly (CEP) seem to be the best. However, the Fits also have a decent amount of compression, they are well made, they stay up and they are now my go-to brand, followed by DarnTough. I’ve tried virtually every major outdoor brand for socks and the Fits are by far my favorites.

They live up to the name!

I spent the better part of a day climbing up and down waterfalls climbing over boulders and hiking over rock strewn terrain. My feet were comfortable the whole time and to my surprise, at the end of the day the socks were still just below my knees.

The Perfect Fit Starts With the Right Size.

Your sock size shouldn’t be a guessing game. Our socks range from small to double XL, but the best way to know the perfect fit for you is to match your shoe size to the chart on the left. That way, you’ll know the size you select will give you the fit and feel you expect.

Between sizes? Go with your gut, but rest assured that your socks will still fit great. If you receive your order and find yourself wishing you’d gone up or down a size, just let us know. We’ll happily send you replacements for your preferred size.

Concerned about laundry mix-ups? All FITS® socks are coordinated by color and size, based on the colors you see on the size chart. So, you won’t have to worry about mixing up your sizes with the other FITS® wearers in your home. (But stray socks mysteriously going missing in the dryer? Unfortunately, we can’t help with that.)
